O'BRIEN-WINTERS-MEYER-CURRIE-HOWARD, MCGUIRE, 
   MAUTINO AND MOORE,ANDREA.

        Appropriates $500,000 to DCCA for a grant to the  Canal  Corridor      
   Association  for  all costs associated with promoting knowledge of and      
   tourism at the Illinois and Michigan Canal.  Effective July 1, 1997.        
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE                                           
          In the opinion of DCCA, HB 2014 fails to create a State mandate      
          under the State Mandates Act.
