SAVIANO. (BUTLER) 705 ILCS 105/27.3 from Ch. 25, par. 27.3 Amends the Clerks of Courts Act. Provides that circuit court clerks shall receive for their additional duties imposed by specific statutes and other laws (now specific statutes) the amount of $4,500 in 1997, $5,500 in 1998, and $6,500 in 1999 (now $3,500). Effective immediately. JUDICIAL NOTE It has been determined that the bill would neither decrease nor increase the need for the number of judges in the State. FISCAL NOTE (Office of Ill. Courts) The FY97 appropriation for this line is $357,000. If HB 1500 was enacted, a supplemental appropriation of $50,998.98 would be necessary to provide the increased stipend to all 102 cir- cuit clerks.
