LYONS,EILEEN-SILVA. 415 ILCS 5/39.2 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1039.2 Amends the Environmental Protection Act to provide that a governing authority of a municipality contiguous to a proposed site for a pollution control facility or contiguous to a municipality in which a proposed site is located shall be notified of an application for location approval for the facility and may participate in a public hearing concerning the application. Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 415 ILCS 5/39.2 Adds reference to: 415 ILCS 5/40 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1040 Deletes everything.
