ERWIN-FANTIN. New Act Creates the Managed Dental Care Patient Protection and Reform Act. Provides for the regulation of dental managed care plans by the Director of Insurance. Establishes requirements for disclosure to enrollees. Establishes credentialing and utilization review standards. Requires plans to include a point-of-service option. Provides that the Director of Insurance shall issue an annual report on the performance of managed care entities.
