1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Martin Mochel of Shelbyville,
4 Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Martin Osmar Mochel was born in Shelbyville,
6 Illinois, on August 18, 1912; his parents were Martin and
7 Daisy Decker Mochel; he married Mary C. Kuhn in Pana,
8 Illinois on February 6, 1935; and
9 WHEREAS, Mr. Mochel was an Internal Revenue Service agent
10 in Springfield for thirty years, retiring in February of
11 1973; he was a member of the National Association of Retired
12 Federal Employees; and
13 WHEREAS, Martin Mochel is survived by his loving wife,
14 Mary; his sons, William Mochel and wife Sandy, and Michael
15 and his wife Becky; his daughter Marilyn Winter; his
16 daughter-in-law, Rosemarie Mochel; his sister, Mary Kay Dale;
17 his eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren;
18 therefore, be it
19 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
20 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
21 family and friends, the death of Martin Mochel of
22 Shelbyville, Illinois; may his family find comfort in this
23 time of loss; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the family of Martin Mochel.
