1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of William T. Margalus of Lemont,
4 Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, William Margalus served as a Trustee on the
6 Lemont Village Board until June of 1994, after being
7 appointed in January of 1990; Mr. Margalus was a native of
8 the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago, but later made his
9 home in the Village of Lemont; and
10 WHEREAS, William Margalus was a member of the Knights of
11 Columbus; he was a longtime employee of the State of
12 Illinois, serving the Office of the Governor in the Illinois
13 Department of Financial Institutions; and
14 WHEREAS, William Margalus is survived by his wife,
15 Maureen; his children, Bill Jr., and his wife, Jeanette,
16 Kelly Lynn, and Kim Skibinski and her husband, David; his
17 granddaughter, Rachel; his mother, Agnes; his mother-in-law,
18 Josephine Kelly; his sister, Bonnie Derwinski and her
19 husband, Ed; and many other relatives and friends; therefore,
20 be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
22 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we send our sincere
23 condolences to the family and friends of William T. Margalus;
24 may they find comfort in this time of loss; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of William Margalus.
