1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate wish to send
3 their sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Morgan
4 Williams of Winthrop Harbor, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, Morgan Williams was a man of fine moral
6 character, was charitable, and was a dedicated public
7 servant; throughout his life Morgan Williams gave of himself
8 to his community, by serving as a member of Village Board, as
9 a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission, and on the
10 local school board; and
11 WHEREAS, Morgan Williams was a long time member of the
12 Economic Development Commission, aiding the community in
13 building a better climate for businesses; and
14 WHEREAS, Morgan Williams will be remembered as a family
15 man, a man who respected and loved nature, and a man who
16 loved his community; and
17 WHEREAS, The Village of Winthrop Harbor acknowledged
18 Morgan Williams by naming the Park area north of the Village
19 Hall in his honor; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
21 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
22 family, friends, and the community of Winthrop Harbor, the
23 death of Morgan Williams; and be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to the family of Morgan Williams.
