1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Andrew "Andy" James Dawson of
4 Forsyth, Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate consider the
6 death of a child to be especially hard on the parents; and
7 WHEREAS, Andrew Dawson was born on April 7, 1979 to
8 Patrick "Pat" and Ann Williams Dawson; and
9 WHEREAS, Andy Dawson was a big part of his community; he
10 was a 1997 graduate of St. Teresa High School and played on
11 its undefeated football team his senior year; in addition,
12 Andy lettered in football every year of his high school
13 career; and
14 WHEREAS, Andy Dawson was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes
15 Catholic Church; and
16 WHEREAS, Andy Dawson is survived by his loving parents;
17 his brother Sean Dawson; his sisters Jill and Julie Dawson;
18 his grandparents James and Suzanne Dawson and Bill and
19 Eleanor Williams; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
21 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his
22 family and friends, the death of Andrew Dawson of Forsyth,
23 Illinois; we especially send to his parents our support in
24 this time of grief; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the family of Andrew Dawson.
