20 ILCS 105/4.07 new
Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Provides that
every citizen of the State who qualifies for home-delivered
meals under the federal Older American's Act shall be
provided services, subject to appropriations. Provides that
the Department on Aging shall file with the General Assembly
and the Illinois Council on Aging by January 1 of each year
estimates of additional funds needed to permit full funding
of the program and the Statewide provision of services in the
next fiscal year.

1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Act on the Aging by adding
2 Section 4.07.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by
6 adding Section 4.07 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 105/4.07 new)
8 Sec. 4.07. Home-delivered meals. Every citizen of the
9 State of Illinois who qualifies for home-delivered meals
10 under the federal Older American's Act shall be provided
11 services, subject to appropriations. The Department shall
12 file with the General Assembly and shall provide to the
13 Illinois Council on Aging by January 1 of each year estimates
