P.A. 87-870, Sec. 0.01 new
P.A. 87-871, Sec. 0.01 new
Amends Public Act 87-870 and Public Act 87-871. Provides
that those Public Acts were enacted in memory of Karen
Yurkovich and Glen Beach, victims of stalking, and may be
referred to as the Karen Yurkovich and Glen Beach laws.

1 AN ACT to amend certain Acts in relation to stalking and
2 aggravated stalking.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. "An Act to create the offenses of stalking
6 and aggravated stalking, amending names Acts", Public Act
7 87-870, approved July 12, 1992, is amended by adding Section
8 0.01 as follows:
9 (P.A. 87-870, Sec. 0.01 new)
10 Sec. 0.01. Public Act 87-870 and Public Act 87-871 were
11 enacted in memory of Karen Yurkovich and Glen Beach, victims
12 of stalking, and may be referred to as the Karen Yurkovich
13 and Glen Beach laws.
14 Section 10. "An Act to create the offenses of stalking
