1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Nancy J.
3 Schilling has been named Citizen of the Year by the Village
4 of Evansville; and
5 WHEREAS, As City Clerk for the past 14 years, Nancy
6 Schilling has been an outstanding citizen and has shown a
7 great ability for completing this job; and
8 WHEREAS, Her work during the 1993 flood, securing State
9 and federal money for the Village of Evansville, led to her
10 becoming the Randolph County Civil Defense Director; and
11 WHEREAS, Nancy Schilling has been supported throughout
12 her public and private life by her husband, Danny, and two
13 children, Roxie and Ryan; therefore, be it
14 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
15 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
16 congratulate Nancy Schilling on being named Citizen of the
17 Year by the Village of Evansville; and be it further
18 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19 presented to her as an expression of our esteem.
