1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Each year in June the State FFA Convention meets
3 in Springfield to honor chapters and members for their
4 accomplishments during the year; and
5 WHEREAS, The Cissna Park FFA finished third in the State,
6 received their twelfth consecutive Solid Gold Chapter Award,
7 became the longest consecutive Solid Gold Chapter in the
8 State, and became the twelfth year their chapter has been in
9 the State's top one percent; and
10 WHEREAS, Besides the chapter honors, many members
11 received personal honors; and
12 WHEREAS, The citizens of Cissna Park can indeed be proud
13 of their chapter because it was one of the best in the State;
14 therefore, be it
15 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
16 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
17 congratulate the Cissna Park FFA and extend to them best
18 wishes for the future; and be it further
19 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Ron Lynch, FFA Advisor.
