1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that the
4 Illinois Economic and Fiscal Commission is directed to
5 determine the following information, including dollar
6 amounts, for fiscal years 1997 and 1998 and, to the extent
7 possible, fiscal year 1999 with respect to State entities,
8 and their activities and expenditures, for which the Governor
9 is required to budget State moneys under subsection (a) of
10 Section 2 of Article VIII of the Illinois Constitution:
11 (1) those not shown in the Governor's budget and
12 the legal basis, if any, for that treatment; and
13 (2) those for which the General Assembly did not
14 appropriate moneys and the legal basis, if any, for that
15 treatment; and be it further
16 RESOLVED, That the Illinois Economic and Fiscal
17 Commission is directed to also determine the following
18 information, including dollar amounts, for fiscal years 1997
19 and 1998 and, to the extent possible, fiscal year 1999:
20 (1) funds created by the General Assembly that were
21 not included in the Governor's budget and the legal
22 basis, if any, for that treatment;
23 (2) funds created by the General Assembly from
24 which the General Assembly did not appropriate moneys and
25 the legal basis, if any, for that treatment; and
26 (3) funds that had continuing appropriations; and
27 be it further
28 RESOLVED, That the Illinois Economic and Fiscal
29 Commission report its determinations to this body by December
30 31, 1998.
