1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives is proud
3 to congratulate citizens of Illinois when they celebrate
4 major milestones in their lives; and
5 WHEREAS, Representative Klingler considers Vickie Adkins
6 to be a friend and an outstanding public servant; and
7 WHEREAS, Vickie Adkins has distinguished herself as an
8 outstanding public servant by virtue of her achievements; and
9 WHEREAS, Vickie adjudicates federal disability claims for
10 the Illinois Department of Human Services for the Social
11 Security Administration; and
12 WHEREAS, During her fifteen years of employment with the
13 Illinois Department of Human Services she has maintained
14 exemplary statistics regularly exceeding goals in all areas;
15 and
16 WHEREAS, She was awarded the highest award given by the
17 Social Security Administration to a Disability Claims
18 Adjudicator II; and
19 WHEREAS, On March 26, 1998 in Denver, Colorado, she was
20 recognized by the Social Security Administration with the
21 "Associate Commissioners Citation for Exemplary Service as a
22 Disability Claims Adjudicator II", a National Award; and
23 WHEREAS, Vickie Adkins is now serving as a Disability
24 Appeals Officer for children disability claims; and
25 WHEREAS, On November 24, 1998, Vickie and her husband,
26 Butch, will celebrate their Silver Wedding Anniversary;
27 therefore, be it
28 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
29 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

1 congratulate Vickie Adkins on the outstanding service given
2 to the people of the State of Illinois; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to Vickie Adkins, along with well wishes on all of
5 her future endeavors.
