1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives is pleased
3 to recognize significant milestones in the lives of the
4 people of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to the attention of the House of
6 Representatives that on November 2, 1997 David B. Burke
7 became the newest Scout to enter the Eagle Scout Court of
8 Honor; and
9 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives is pleased
10 to honor David B. Burke for his commendable service and
11 extraordinary commitment to our community; Scout David B.
12 Burke played an active role working with a group of
13 volunteers in the creation and construction of the new
14 storage space for St. Christopher Church; and
15 WHEREAS, David B. Burke is an outstanding member and
16 example to his community; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
19 congratulate Scout David B. Burke on becoming the 39th Eagle
20 Scout from Boy Scout Troop 358 and for his outstanding
21 service to the community and St. Christopher Church; we
22 extend our best wishes to David B. Burke for his future; and
23 be it further
24 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
25 presented to Scout David B. Burke as an expression of our
26 respect and esteem.
