Amends the School Code. Makes a grammatical change in
the provisions relating to contracts for third party
non-instructional services.

1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 10-22.34c.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 10-22.34c as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/10-22.34c)
8 Sec. 10-22.34c. Third party non-instructional services.
9 Notwithstanding any other law of this State, nothing in this
10 Code prevents a board of education from entering into a
11 contract with a third party for non-instructional services
12 that are currently performed by any employee or bargaining
13 unit member or from laying off those educational support
14 personnel employees upon 30 days written notice to the
15 affected employees.
