1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2167
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2167 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to privileged communications."; and
5 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
6 following:
7 "Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
8 adding Section 8-804 as follows:
9 (735 ILCS 5/8-804 new)
10 Sec. 8-804. Parent and child. Neither a parent nor a
11 child may be compelled to disclose in any court or to any
12 administrative body any statement made to the parent or the
13 child by the other, nor be compelled to divulge any
14 information which has been obtained from the other, except as
15 to such matters in which either has acted as agent for the
16 other.".
