1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1972
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1972, on page 24,
3 by deleting lines 22 and 23; and by inserting the following:
4 "Section 51. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much as may
5 be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development
6 Fund to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for a
7 grant to the Village of Ford Heights for all costs associated
8 with the development of a new drinking water system.
9 Section 52. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much as may
10 be necessary, is appropriated from the Capital Development
11 Fund to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency for
12 grants to the Village of South Holland, Village of Glenwood,
13 and the Village of Lansing for all costs associated with the
14 development and implementation of flood mitigation measures.
15 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
16 July 1, 1997.".
