(505 ILCS 130/24) (from Ch. 5, par. 574)

Sec. 24. If any provision of this Act or application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this Act which can be given effect without the invalid application or provision, and to this end the provisions of this Act are declared to be severable.
