Sec. 19. Hearings. The Committee established under the provisions of Section 2.05 shall, upon designation by the Director, hear charges
which, if proved,
would constitute grounds for disciplinary action; shall hear applications for
restoration of a license and the issuance of a license or registration as a licensed certified public
accountant or registered certified public accountant of any person, partnership, limited liability company, or
corporation whose license or registration has been suspended or revoked; and
shall report its
findings and recommendations in connection therewith to the Director, all as
provided in Section 20.01.
The Department shall also
have power to
promulgate and amend rules of professional conduct that shall apply to
persons registered or licensed under this Act.
