Sec. 28.
Temporary suspension of a license.
The
Director may temporarily suspend the
license of an athletic trainer without a hearing, simultaneously with
the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided
for in Section 20 of this Act, if the Director finds that evidence in his or
her
possession indicates that an athletic trainer's continuation in practice
would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the
Director suspends, temporarily, the
license of an athletic trainer
without a hearing, a hearing by the Board
must be held within 30 days after such suspension has occurred.
