Sec. 1.
That each corporation heretofore or hereafter
having power under its charter, or under any special or general law of the
State of Illinois to construct or operate telephone lines or exchanges in
or through Illinois, shall possess the powers and privileges and be subject
to the duties, restrictions and liabilities prescribed in this act.
