(65 ILCS 5/9-1-9) (from Ch. 24, par. 9-1-9)
Sec. 9-1-9.
Any municipality having an unclaimed rebate fund as provided in
Sections 9-1-5 through 9-1-7, by ordinance may at its option direct the use
of the money in that fund for any public purpose for which the
municipality is authorized by law to expend funds.
