Sec. 8.
The State's Attorney of the county in which a
violation of Sections 4, 5, 6 or 7 of this Act is alleged to
have occurred, or the Attorney General, may be requested by
the Director of the Historic Preservation Agency to initiate
criminal prosecutions or to seek civil damages, injunctive
relief and any other appropriate relief. The Historic
Preservation Agency shall co-operate with the State's Attorney
or the Attorney General. Persons aware of any violations of
this Act shall contact the Historic Preservation Agency.
