(20 ILCS 5/5-357) Sec. 5-357. In the Department of Innovation and Technology. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, for terms beginning on or after January 16, 2023, the Secretary of Innovation and Technology shall receive an annual salary of $200,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher, and the Assistant Secretary of Innovation and Technology shall receive an annual salary of $170,000 or as set by the Governor, whichever is higher. On July 1, 2023, and on each July 1 thereafter, the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary shall each receive an increase in salary based on a cost of living adjustment as authorized by Senate Joint Resolution 192 of the 86th General Assembly.
