Sec. 25.
Citizenship Day.
The Governor shall annually designate by
official proclamation the third Sunday in May to be designated as
Citizenship Day to be observed throughout the State as a day for the
purpose of holding appropriate ceremonies in the various communities of the
State for the preparation as citizens of persons who during the last 12
months have reached the age of 18 years. The ceremonies shall emphasize
the responsibilities attached to the rights and privileges of citizenship.
