SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are deeply
3saddened to learn of the death of Suzann E. Sheley of
4Naperville, who passed away on September 7, 2012; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Suzann Sheley was born to John and Patricia
6Henneman; she married Shannon M. Sheley on June 25, 1988; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Suzann Sheley graduated from Northwestern
8University and completed her Master's Degree in Corporate
9Public Relations from Northwestern; she began her career with
10Jenner & Block Law Firm and developed and headed their Practice
11Development Division; in recent years she was the adjunct
12professor of communications at Waubonsee Community College;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Suzann Sheley enjoyed being involved in the
15activities of her children; she took part in the Cub Scouts,
16the Naperville Central Band Boosters, and the Naperville
17Central Poms Squad; she enjoyed camping and exploring the
18National Parks with her family; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Suzann Sheley was preceded in death by her
20parents-in-law, Jim and Barbara Sheley; and

1    WHEREAS, Suzann Sheley is survived by her husband, Shannon;
2her children, Brendan, John, and Maddie Sheley; her parents,
3John and Patricia Henneman; her brothers, Mark (Mary) Henneman
4and Todd (Craig Nakano) Henneman; her brothers-in-law, Ryan
5(Pat), Brynn (Chris), and Regan (Molly) Sheley; her
6sister-in-law, Nicole (Todd) Maere; her 15 nieces and nephews;
7her mothers-in-law, Patricia Sheley and Carol Sheley; and a
8host of great friends; therefore, be it
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
11Suzann Sheley, and we extend our sincere condolences to her
12family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
13further
 
14    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
15presented to the family of Suzann Sheley as an expression of
16our deepest sympathy.
