| SENATE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 |
| learn of the death of
James T. Williamson of Piasa, who passed | 4 |
| away on February 11, 2009; and
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was born on July 11, 1937; his | 6 |
| parents were Desmere Williamson and Margaret (Egan); and
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, In 1972, James Williamson formed what is now the | 8 |
| law firm of Williamson, Webster, Falb, and Glisson of Alton; he | 9 |
| previously practiced law for many years in St. Louis, Madison, | 10 |
| and St. Clair Counties; and
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was an active member of the | 12 |
| Alton-Wood River and Madison County Bar Associations; and
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson was an avid patron of opera and | 14 |
| the arts; and
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, James Williamson is survived by his daughter, Dr. | 16 |
| Heather Williamson, and her husband, James Quirk; his son, | 17 |
| Jimmy Williamson II; his grandchildren, Patrick and Caitlin | 18 |
| Quirk; his brother, Donald Williamson; and his former spouse, | 19 |
| Dr. Carolyn Franke; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL | 2 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 3 |
| his family and friends, the passing of James T. Williamson; and | 4 |
| be it further
| 5 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 6 |
| presented to the family of James Williamson as an expression of | 7 |
| our sympathy.
