| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of John M. O'Hearn of Elmwood Park, who | 4 | | passed away on July 16, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John O'Hearn was born on September 23, 1944 in | 6 | | Rome, New York; he was raised in Oak Park and attended St. | 7 | | Catherine Elementary School; he completed grade school at St. | 8 | | Luke's in River Forest; he attended Fenwick High School and | 9 | | graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1966; he married | 10 | | Mary Jo Parker; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, John O'Hearn was a successful businessman, | 12 | | spending most of his professional career selling media | 13 | | advertising for the Chicago Tribune, CBS, and the American Bar | 14 | | Association; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, John O'Hearn coached little league baseball for | 16 | | many years; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, John O'Hearn was preceded in death by his parents, | 18 | | James J. M.D. and Mary Alice "Pidge" O'Hearn; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, John O'Hearn is survived by his beloved wife, Mary | 20 | | Jo; his children, Mary "Bess" (Matt) Raulerson, Jennifer |
