| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Cleo | 4 | | Dailey, Sr. of Peoria, who passed away on June 28, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. was born on April 20, 1929 in | 6 | | Wynne, Arkansas; his parents were Tad and Willie B. (nee | 7 | | Mosley) Dailey; he married Emma L. Davis on December 25, 1954 | 8 | | in Peoria; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. served his country as a member of | 10 | | the United States Army in the Korean War from 1951 to 1953; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. worked at Armour Packing for 20 | 12 | | years; he later worked at Caterpillar Inc. until his retirement | 13 | | after 30 years of service in 1992; he also served as a barber | 14 | | for the people in his neighborhood; and | 15 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. enjoyed hunting, fishing, and | 16 | | tending his garden every year; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. was preceded in death by his | 18 | | wife; his parents; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; and a grandson; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Cleo Dailey, Sr. is survived by his children, |
