2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
3 | | learn of the death of Louis G. "Lou" Fiorelli; and
|
4 | | WHEREAS, Lou Fiorelli was born in the Bronx, New York on |
5 | | November 11,
1931; he graduated from Pearl River High School in |
6 | | Pearl River, New York in 1949; he served as a corporal in the |
7 | | United States Army at West Point from 1949 to 1952; he married |
8 | | Patricia Holland in 1954 and moved to Lake County in 1959; and
|
9 | | WHEREAS, Lou Fiorelli was a State Farm agent from 1961 to |
10 | | 2001; he was a member of the State Farm Lifetime President's |
11 | | Club; and |
12 | | WHEREAS, Lou Fiorelli was the developer and owner of the |
13 | | Ponderosa in 1967 and the developer and owner of the Maple Tree |
14 | | Mall from 1970-1995; and
|
15 | | WHEREAS, Lou Fiorelli was a member of the Knights of |
16 | | Columbus,
the Mundelein Jaycees, and the Mundelein |
17 | | Beautification Committee; he was president of the Mundelein |
18 | | High School Board of Education from 1967 to 1968; and
|
19 | | WHEREAS, Lou Fiorelli is survived by his wife, Patricia; |
20 | | his children, Joel (Edwina) Fiorelli, Paul (Connie) Fiorelli, |

12 | | Louis G. "Lou" Fiorelli, and extend our sincere condolences to |
13 | | his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
