| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Juvenile Court Act of 1987 is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 3-13 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 3-13. Medical and dental treatment and care. At all |
| 8 | | times during temporary custody or shelter care, the

care provider to provide medical, dental or surgical |
| 11 | | procedures if such
procedures are necessary to safeguard the |
| 12 | | minor's life or health. |
