1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2702
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2702, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
4 1, on page 1, line 5, by replacing "Sections" with "Section";
5 and

6 on page 12, immediately below line 3, by inserting the
7 following:

8 "(d) Notwithstanding any provision of this Act to the
9 contrary, an independent escrowee that issues a closing
10 protection letter pursuant to this Section shall, in addition
11 to the deposits required by Section 4 of this Act, file with
12 and have approved by the Secretary proof of a fidelity bond in
13 the minimum amount of $2,000,000."; and

14 on page 12, line 3, by replacing "(d)" with "(e)".
