1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5603
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5603 on page 1, by
3 replacing line 6 with "5, 15, 25, 27, and 65 as follows:"; and

4 on page 7, lines 22 and 23, by replacing "National Fire
5 Protection Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code (2012 ~~2000~~
6 edition)" with "edition of the National Fire Protection
7 Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code in force at the time of
8 installation and shall remain in compliance with that or any
9 subsequent edition of NFPA 101 enforced pursuant to Part 483 of
10 Title 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations ~~National Fire~~
11 ~~Protection Association (NFPA) 101 Life Safety Code (2000~~
12 ~~edition)~~"; and

13 on page 10, immediately below line 19, by inserting the
14 following:

15     "(210 ILCS 32/65)

1     Sec. 65. Rules. The Department shall adopt rules necessary
2 to administer and enforce any Section of this Act. Rulemaking
3 shall not delay the full implementation of ~~implement~~ this Act.
