1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2747
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2747 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. If and only if Senate Bill 10 of the 98th
5 General Assembly becomes law, then "An Act concerning civil
6 law" (Senate Bill 10 of the 98th General Assembly) is amended
7 by adding Section 999 as follows:

8     (98th G.A., Senate Bill 10, Sec. 999 new)
9     Sec. 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect on the
10 effective date of House Bill 2747 of the 98th General Assembly.
11 (Source: 98th G.A., Senate Bill 10.)

12     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law or on the date Senate Bill 10 of the 98th General
14 Assembly becomes law, whichever is later.".
