1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2399
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2399 on page 13, by
3 replacing lines 5 through 8 with the following:
4 "(i) Except for vehicles exempted under subsection (b) of
5 Section 7-601 of this Code, whenever a law enforcement officer
6 issues a citation to a driver for a violation of Section 3-707
7 of this Code, and the driver has a conviction for a violation
8 of Section 3-707 of this Code in the past 12 months, the
9 arresting officer may authorize the removal and impoundment of
10 the vehicle by a towing service.".
