AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1555

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1555 by replacing
3everything from line 20 on page 1 through line 1 on page 2 with
4the following:
5    "(a-5) As soon as practical after this amendatory Act of
6the 98th General Assembly, the Department must compile and
7update the ITAP database with information received under
8subsection (c-5) of this Section."; and
 
9by replacing everything from line 5 on page 5 through line 22
10on page 6 with the following:
11    "(c-5) The ITAP shall provide direct access to each of the
12following with respect to each unit of local government:
13        (1) a database of all current employees of the unit of
14    local government, except sworn law enforcement officers,
15    sorted separately by:
16            (i) Name.
17            (ii) Employing unit of local government.

1            (iii) Employment position title.
2            (iv) Current pay rate and year-to-date pay.
3        (2) All financial reports and audits required to be
4    filed by the unit of local government with a State agency
5    or another unit of local government, including, but not
6    limited to, reports and audits required to be filed with
7    the Comptroller under Section 8-8-3 of the Illinois
8    Municipal Code.
9        (3) All Tax Increment Financing Reports required to be
10    filed with the Comptroller under Section 8-8-3.5 of the
11    Illinois Municipal Code.
12        (4) The account of the municipal treasurer required
13    under Section 3.1-35-65 of the Illinois Municipal Code.
14        (5) The report of the police and firefighter pension
15    board that is required to be issued to a municipality under
16    Section 3-143 or 4-134 of the Illinois Pension Code.
17        (6) The report filed by the Illinois Municipal
18    Retirement Fund under Section 7-192 of the Illinois Pension
19    Code and each Governmental Accounting Standards Board
20    Pension Disclosure that the Fund provides to a unit of
21    local government."; and
 
22on page 7, line 8, after "Department.", by inserting "The
23Department, however, may not require that any report,
24accounting, or other filing that is filed pursuant to a statute
25or other law be submitted at a different time or in a different

1manner or format than was used by the State agency or local
2government in creating the document.".
