1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3594
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3594 on page 1,
3 line 5, after "11a-10", by inserting the following:
4 "and the heading of Article XXVI, and by adding Section 26-3";
5 and

6 on page 6, below line 13, by inserting the following:

7     "(755 ILCS 5/Art. XXVI heading)
8 ARTICLE XXVI
9 APPEALS AND POST-JUDGMENT MOTIONS

10     (755 ILCS 5/26-3 new)
11     Sec. 26-3. Effect of post-judgment motions. Unless stayed
12 by the court, an order adjudicating a person disabled and
13 appointing a plenary, limited, or successor guardian pursuant
14 to Section 11a-3, 11a-12, 11a-14, or 11a-15 of this Act shall
15 not be suspended or the enforcement thereof stayed pending the

1 filing and resolution of any post-judgment motion.

2     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
3 becoming law.".
