1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1645
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1645, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No.
4 1, on page 6, line 22, immediately after the period, by
5 inserting the following:
6 "For the purposes of this definition, a request made by news
7 media shall not be considered a vexatious request for records
8 when the principal purpose of the request is (i) to access and
9 disseminate information concerning news and current or passing
10 events or (ii) for articles of opinion or features of interest
11 to the public.".
