AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 600

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 600 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the following:

"Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section 2-3.153 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/2-3.153 new)

Sec. 2-3.153. Grant applicant list. With respect to grants that the State Board of Education awards to schools and school districts that apply, at the close of the application period, the State Board of Education shall post a list of those schools and school districts that are applying for each and every grant, by name, on its Internet website.".
