AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 3106

2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3106 on page 4, by
3 replacing lines 17 through 19 with the following:
4 "Illinois Pension Code; and (p) if the question of whether to
5 exempt the extension from this definition is submitted to the
6 voters residing in the school district at referendum and is
7 approved by a majority of the electors voting on the question,
8 then extensions made on behalf of that school district for
9 special education purposes under Section 17-2.2a of the School
10 Code are exempt from the definition of "aggregate extension"
11 beginning in the first levy year after the referendum is
12 approved."; and
 
13 on page 7, by replacing lines 6 through 8 with the following:
14 "17-9.02 of the School Code; and (r) if the question of whether
15 to exempt the extension from this definition is submitted to
16 the voters residing in the school district at referendum and is
17 approved by a majority of the electors voting on the question,

1 then extensions made on behalf of that school district for
2 special education purposes under Section 17-2.2a of the School
3 Code are exempt from the definition of "aggregate extension"
4 beginning in the first levy year after the referendum is

6 on page 9, by replacing lines 17 through 19 with the following:
7 "Section 19-3.10 of the School Code; and (n) if the question of
8 whether to exempt the extension from this definition is
9 submitted to the voters residing in the school district at
10 referendum and is approved by a majority of the electors voting
11 on the question, then extensions made on behalf of that school
12 district for special education purposes under Section 17-2.2a
13 of the School Code are exempt from the definition of "aggregate
14 extension" beginning in the first levy year after the
15 referendum is approved."; and
 
16 on page 11, by replacing lines 20 and 21 with the following:
17 "and (m) if the question of whether to exempt the extension
18 from this definition is submitted to the voters residing in the
19 school district at referendum and is approved by a majority of
20 the electors voting on the question, then extensions made on
21 behalf of that school district for special education purposes
22 under Section 17-2.2a of the School Code are exempt from the
23 definition of "aggregate extension" beginning in the first levy
24 year after the referendum is approved.".
