1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 264
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 264 on page 24,
3 immediately below line 12, by inserting the following:
4 "(c) Not less than 30 days prior to the commitment to issue
5 bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness for the
6 purpose of developing, constructing, acquiring, or improving
7 housing or residential projects, as defined in this Act, the
8 Authority shall provide notice to the Executive Director of the
9 Illinois Housing Development Authority. Within 30 days after
10 the notice is provided, the Illinois Housing Development
11 Authority shall, in writing, either express interest in
12 financing the project or notify the Authority that it is not
13 interested in providing financing and that the Authority may
14 finance the project or seek alternative financing.".
