2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 488, on page 4,
3 line 21, after "employee", by inserting "who applies to the
4 System within 5 years after the effective date of this
5 amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly and"; and

6 on page 5, by replacing lines 2 through 5 with the following:
7 "payment.".
