| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Nancy | 4 |
| Anne Harmening of Evergreen Park, who passed away on July 31, | 5 |
| 2008; and
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, She was born on September 4, 1963 to Ellamae and | 7 |
| Mart Kenzinger; and
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, She loved watching her children participate in | 9 |
| sports at St. Cajetan and St. John Fisher parishes, Mother | 10 |
| McAuley and Brother Rice high schools, and St. Joseph's College | 11 |
| in Rensselaer, Indiana; and
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, She was a former model who devoted much of her | 13 |
| late life to children, volunteering at many charitable events | 14 |
| on the southwest side of Chicago; she was recognized in the | 15 |
| Morgan Park and Evergreen Park communities as a caring and | 16 |
| compassionate person who had a special gift with people; and
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, She was instrumental in helping former State | 18 |
| Representative Thomas Dart in establishing several youth | 19 |
| groups while he served in the General Assembly from 1993 to | 20 |
| 2002; and

| WHEREAS, Nancy Anne Harmening is survived by her husband, | 2 |
| Bob; her daughter, Amy; her son, Bobby; her parents, Ellamae | 3 |
| and Mart Kenzinger; her siblings, Diana, Karen, Mike, Sharon, | 4 |
| Cyndi, Lance, and Kevin; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, | 5 |
| Bob and Teri Harmening; as well as many nieces and nephews; | 6 |
| therefore, be it
| 7 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | 8 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 9 |
| mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Nancy | 10 |
| Anne Harmening; and be it further
| 11 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 12 |
| presented to the family of Nancy Anne Harmening as a symbol of | 13 |
| our sincere sympathy.
