1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1563
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1563 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
5 Section 8-307 as follows:

6     (220 ILCS 5/8-307 new)
7     Sec. 8-307. Billing for service. A gas utility shall bill a
8 customer for service only after that service is actually
9 provided to the customer.

10     Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
11 becoming law.".
