1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1360
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1360 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
5 adding Section 155.42 as follows:

6     (215 ILCS 5/155.42 new)
7     Sec. 155.42. ZIP code discrimination prohibited. An
8 insurer authorized to do business in this State may not use a
9 person's ZIP code in underwriting or rating property insurance,
10 including the determination of the premium rates.".
