AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 868

AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 868, on page 1, by replacing lines 20 and 21 with the following:

"(3) Any facility licensed under the Nursing Home Care Act or the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Act or certified by the Department of Healthcare and Human Services, provided the facility is in compliance with relevant life safety code requirements and relevant licensure physical standards. This exclusion shall not apply to the need for carbon monoxide detectors in laundry and kitchen areas.".
