    AN ACT concerning education.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Board of Higher Education Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 5 as follows:

    Sec. 5. The
The members of the Board shall serve without 
8
compensation but they
shall be reimbursed for their actual and 
9
necessary traveling and other
expenses while engaged in the

performance of their duties.
