625 ILCS 5/3-112.2 new










    Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Provides that a person may not sell a vehicle to any natural person unless that natural person holds a valid driver's license issued by this State or another state, territory, or other possession of the United States.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended  by adding

Section 3-112.2 as follows:

    (625 ILCS 5/3-112.2  new)

    Sec. 3-112.2. Sales to individuals; buyer must be licensed.

A person may not sell a vehicle to any natural person unless 
9
that natural person holds a valid driver's license issued by 
10
this State or another state, territory, or other possession of 
11
the United States.
