1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 537
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 537, on page 1,
3 immediately below line 3, by inserting the following:

4     "Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by adding Section
5 3-15003.7 as follows:

6     (55 ILCS 5/15003.7 new)
7     Sec. 15003.7. Facilities; tobacco prohibited. No person
8 shall possess or use tobacco in any of its forms in an
9 institution and facility of the Department."; and

10 on page 1, line 4, by replacing "Section 5" with "Section 10";
11 and

12 on page 2, line 7, by replacing "Section 10" with "Section 15";
13 and

14 on page 2, immediately below line 19, by inserting the
15 following:

16     "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
17 January 1, 2006, except that the changes to Division 3-15 of
18 Article 3 of the Counties Code take effect on July 1, 2006.".
